Department of information technology had organised a group discussion activity for second year students under ACM and ITSA.
Event Details
Total 54 students participated in the activity and four group discussions conducted amongst all the students. Topics for discussion were- 1.Job vs business 2.college degree vs skills 3.Examination,has it killed educational? 4.Nepotism Students had participated enthusiastically and expressed their views in front of all.They were judged by Prof.Vaidehi Banerjee on parameters like initiative,contribution,communication and group dynamics. Two students from each group was selected and was awarded by a small gift as token of appreciation.
Conclusion
1.Students will be able to communicate effectively with the engineering community and with the society at large.
2.Improves analytical abilities to think on a particular topic.
3.improves confidence in public speaking platforms.
