Objective
To let students be aware of the Placement records and roadmap of senior students, which helped them to crack on-campus placements.
Event Details
The Placement Journey Session was organized by I2IT, ACM Student Chapter for First Year students, in order to understand what knowledge is required in the Industry and is the same is taught in college or not.
The Placed students shared their journey about how they started their preparations, how many hours they dedicate to it and to college studies, what extra topic they needed to focus on for their interviews, about the platforms they rely on for the placement preparation.
They also told us about when to start the placement preparation and gave us a glimpse of what questions are asked during the coding rounds and HR rounds and how one’s resume should be structured.
Conclusion
First-year students got an idea about College Placement records and the roadmap followed by placed seniors and about the platforms and resources they prefer.
Indeed it was a very helpful event.
